  • Gallery & Retail assistant for the exhibition Grayson Perry: Smash Hits 

2015-2022

Gallery & Studio Manager
River Arts, Inc.

  • Manage daily operations of a nonprofit art gallery representing 40+ local artists.

  • Collection management: Accession, catalogue, and data entry for the art collection inventory.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date location, condition, and insurance records for each piece.

  • Lead the foundational planning for the studio: this included community engagement research and active collaboration with the school district and local recreation centers to learn what they wanted out of a community art space.

  • Facilitate public access to artworks through the online database and in person events.

  • Curate and install 6-8 exhibitions per year, including nationwide shipping processes and related paperwork.

  • Serve as public point of contact for donors, patrons, artists, and community members.

  • Develop and sustain private event rentals of the gallery and studio space, including weddings and corporate events.

  • Research, contract, and market 60+ art workshops per year.

  • Execute all point of sale operations, including to create and maintain a studio budget and marketing plan.

  • Additional duties include website content building, social media marketing, and event planning.

  • Coordinate “Art on Main” public art project for Village of Waunakee

  • Consult with city councils, village boards, and other governing bodies on how to improve local economies through the arts

  • Collaborate with local artists on how to achieve public art funding through municipal projects, including timeline creation and resource management

  • Curate and install three exhibitions per semester, including handling the shipping and insurance of artworks.

  • Manage the database for the University's entire permanent art collection, including physical locations for artworks across campus.
